"I have found that ITCWorks has advantages over Hibernate. Hibernate provides transparent persistence (no low level jdbc calls) with their proprietary object oriented query language (hsql) an improvement over basic sql object relational mappings (ORM). ITCWorks provides all of this plus java (pojo) generation, o/r mappings generation with a simple database specification (1 xml) as opposed to the mass of xml documents required by Hibernate to define database E/R xml /xml schema generation.

ITCWorks also takes a standard SQL data centric interface without understanding another SQL language as Hibernate does (hsql). I strongly recommend that you should to take a closer look at ITCWorks and all that it provides over Hibernate."
