I Technologies Corp (ITC) with its corporate offices located in Hartford, CT announces the release of ITCWorks™ Ver 2.1, an Open Source all Java Framework Library.
The company has stated “the response from software developers has been exceptional with preference over other Open Source alternatives such as Hibernate.” Developers have found that the expanded XML utilities and Object Relational Modeling (ORM) focused around SQL database access has saved hours of coding”. ITCWorks™ provides an open and non-proprietary rapid database integration solution for leading databases provided by Oracle, IBM’s UDB, MySQL, Microsoft SQLServer and others.
Already used by small and large corporations, ITCWorks™ supports SQL-based services to access corporate databases with no or minimal server-side Java programming. This streamlines the development and debugging process without compromising the scalability of the deployed applications.
ITCWorks™ takes you beyond the limits of the standard JDK providing more than 550 advanced classes rich in functionality that reduces software development time and overall costs. With ITCWorks™ you can generate Java beans from XML Schemas, database tables, and SQL queries. Using the rich set of XML utilities offered in the ITCWorks™ foundation class libraries, Java bean instances can be created from XML documents of any complexity. This includes bean properties that take objects and collections as their parameter type.
The company has plans to release a number of follow on products using the “both” source business model, providing free Open Source utilities along with advanced products for purchase. In the very near future the company will release ITC-PRO™, a Visual Object Relational Mapping tool, an Eclipse based plug-in offering visual data integration for software developers and database architects. |
